Eric Mast
Born in Niel, Belgium on 15 May 1966, Erik graduated at the music acadamy Hemiksen with the Government Medal for Trombone. Later, he graduated with first prizes in Solfège, Bass Trombone and Chamber Music, plus the Higher Certificate for Bass Trombone at the Royal Flanders Music Conservatoire in Antwerp. He is the bass trombone player in the Symphonic Orchestra of the Flemish Opera and the bass trombone and tuba player in the Beaux-Arts Brass Quintet. Next to these activities, Erik Mast conducts, composes and arranges, mostly music for wind instruments.
