This is an arrangement for trombone octet of the famous March from Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 6 in B minor, Pathétique, Op. 74 which is his final symphony, written between February and the end of August 1893. The composer led the first performance in St. Petersburg on October 28 of that year, nine days before his death.
