This composition for Trombone and Piano is in three movements ina jazz idiom ; The first is in jazz rock style with a teasing ostinato in the piano and a broad melody in the trombone. The second a lyrical cool jazz number with a flavour of the nineteen sixties. The third is a fast bebop piece to test the agility of the soloist. Together they make an attractive concert piece for more advanced performers.
