Written at the request of trombonist Cy Reynolds, Adjustments (for Unaccompanied Trombone) was completed in Rochester, NY in February 2008 and lasts approximately eight minutes in duration. Cy premiered the piece on April 28, 2008 at the Eastman School of Music.
The piece demands an advanced technique and a major command of the instrument.
